Andre Santangelo

On September 29, 2024, Andre Francis Santangelo Sr. passed peacefully at the age of 83 in Wilmington NC. Andre was born on August 21, 1941 in Philadelphia, PA. He was proud to be of Italian heritage and loved his family fiercely. He was a life-long cheesesteak lover, taking a bit of Philly with him everywhere he went. A retired contractor, he took great joy in creating beautiful spaces and helping people achieve their dream homes.

Andre is survived by his former wives Audrey Santangelo and Debra Santangelo; his four children Lisa Cross (Roy), Terry Och (Tom), Andre Santangelo Jr. (Donna), and Rose Freel (Keith); his ten grandchildren Amanda (Mason), Emily (Dan), Matthew, Nathan, Cynthia, and Sylvia Cross; James Miller and Jonathan Donnelly; and Olivia and Madelyn Freel; his great-grandchildren, August Hopkins and Wyatt Miller; as well as his sister Rita Santangelo. He was predeceased by his brothers Joseph P. Santangelo and Thomas A. Santangelo and his former wife Virginia Santangelo.

. Please join us for a memorial service on Friday November 8 at Laurel Hill Funeral Home, 225 Belmont Ave, Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004, with visitation beginning at 10 AM and service at 11 AM. Internment to immediately follow at Westminster Cemetery.
