WILMINGTON- It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Patricia Gallagher
Beshaw, beloved mother, grandmother and friend on February 3, 2025, in
Wilmington, N.C., at the age of 83. Patricia was born on September 22, 1941, in Des Moines, Iowa. She was the daughter of the late Edwin Joseph Gallagher and Mariemma Derr. Patricia grew up in Goldsboro, NC and graduated from Goldsboro High School in 1959. Patricia
attended Greensboro College and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in education in 1963. She taught elementary school for many years and loved spending her retirement years gardening and being with friends and family. Patricia is survived by her three children, Mary Buckholtz (John), Timothy Hairr (Cassandra), and Dana Busa (Thomas) and eight grandchildren.
